The Occupational Safety and Health Office is reminding all employers that the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 2009 require every employer to submit an annual report of the number of accidents, dangerous occurrences, and illnesses that occurred at the workplace during the calendar year, January to December.
The Employer’s Annual Report of Accidents, Occupational Illnesses & Dangerous Occurrence (OSHR 30) form must reach the Occupational Safety and Health office at osho@gov.bm no later than March 1, 2024. This data helps determine areas of highest risk in local businesses, enabling targeted inspections and education activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
Employers can fill out the form online here. Ensure all fields are completed. If no incidents have occurred, enter a zero in the appropriate boxes.
If they have not been submitted previously, you may also need to attach individual Accident Investigation Reports (OSH 1) and Dangerous Occurrence (OSH 6) report forms for any required to accompany your OSHR 30 form.
Kindly direct any questions or concerns to The Occupational Safety & Health Officer at 278-5333 or osho@gov.bm.
