On Thursday 19 June 2025 His Excellency the Governor will host a reception celebrating His Majesty the King’s Birthday at his temporary residence between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Applications for the ballot to attend must be made between noon on Wednesday 16 April and noon on Wednesday 30 April 2025.
The Governor said: “I am pleased to invite members of the public to apply for an invitation to attend this year’s King’s Birthday Reception. Over the last several years the response from the public has been tremendous and those who have attended have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Once again, we are more limited in numbers than in previous years due to being in a temporary residence. Nevertheless, we look forward to welcoming as many members of the public as we can to this year’s King’s Birthday Reception.”
