FISHERIES STATISTICS
The owner or operator of every licensed fishing vessel is reminded of the obligation to keep a daily log of catch and effort statistics relating to the operation of that licensed fishing vessel, and to make returns of the catch and effort statistics to the Director of Environment and Natural Resources on the fisheries statistics Form 3 or online at www.shellcatch.com. The deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for all fishing vessels for the year 2024 was on 31 January 2025.
Fishing vessel owners or operators who have not submitted all of their 2024 statistics by
30 April 2025 will have committed an offence against the Fisheries Regulations 2010.
Vessel owners and operators are further advised that the deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for the first quarter of 2025 (i.e. 1 January to 31 March 2025) is 30 April 2025. Statistics should be submitted to the Licensing Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) located in the Botanical Gardens, Paget; to the DENR Marine Resources Section Office located on Coney Island, St. George’s; or online at www.shellcatch.com.
