The Rebuild of the “Cacti and Succulent” House at the Botanical Gardens, 169 South Road, Paget, Bermuda

The works comprise the demolition of the existing single-storey, timber-framed post and beam structure, which has a flat timber-framed roof and battened wood siding walls. The rebuild will comprise a new “like for like” structure, except for the new roof which will be pitched (rather than flat) and include a hutch. The roof will be covered with corrugated roof panels. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire services are required.

The Royal Bermuda Regiment is the responsibility of the Ministry of National Security. The Royal Bermuda Regiment recruits are duty-bound to undertake an annual training exercise at a well-equipped location outside of Bermuda. To achieve this, the Royal Bermuda Regiment must obtain suitable air transportation to safely transport the troops.

Recruitment of Teaching and Ancillary staff

The Government of Bermuda seeks to procure comprehensive recruitment services to support the hiring of teaching and ancillary staff for the Bermuda Public School System during its transition to a new Education Authority model. This service will include resource planning, advertisement of roles, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of both Bermudian and non-Bermudian professionals.

Judicial Case Management System

For the Courts of Bermuda to implement a single, unitary, end-to-end judicial case management solution. The project involves adopting commercial off-the-shelf software customized to meet the Courts' needs. The system must be Internet/cloud-based, highly secure, and extendable to other government departments. Its purpose is to enhance efficiency and transparency through automation, providing real-time activity tracking, and supporting court operations such as case management, scheduling, document handling, and financial tracking.

Floating Docks Surveying and Replacement Design

The Government seeks to engage a suitably qualified engineering firm to design the replacement for the floating ferry docks at Hamilton Ferry Terminal, Dockyard Ferry Terminal, and Hamilton Marine and Ports Depot using existing mooring piles. The existing floating barges are heavily corroded and beyond repair. Reuse of existing gangways, platforms, and ramps, if possible, is preferred.

Pembroke Canal Sheetpiling

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Pembroke Canal Sheetpiling as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Government of Bermuda is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to construct a steel sheetpile seawall at the outfall of Pembroke Canal (Mills Creek), Pembroke.

Kindley Field Boat Ramp Repair

The Ministry of Public works is looking to repair the boat ramp on Kindley Field Road.
